Privacy Policy

The short version: Focus Filter does not collect, sell, or share any personal data. Everything it knows stays in your browser.

What Focus Filter does

Focus Filter ("the extension") runs on YouTube pages to hide, replace or block videos you have chosen not to see, such as Shorts, Mix playlists and videos that don't match your study settings.

Information we collect

None. We do not operate any servers for the extension, and it makes no network requests to us or to any third party. We do not use analytics, advertising, cookies or tracking of any kind.

Information processed on your device

Permissions, and why

Remote code

The extension does not load or run any remote code. All of its code ships inside the extension package.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or transfer user data to anyone, for any purpose, because we do not have any.

Children

The extension is suitable for students of any age. Since it collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

Your control

You can change or clear every setting and list in the extension's options page, or remove everything at any time by uninstalling the extension.

This website is an information page. It does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to Formspree (formspree.io), a form service that delivers them to me by email. I use them only to reply to you. You can also write to the email address below instead.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
